“My full name is Sonni Vargas and my fiancé’s name is Jordan Williams we are both 22 years old.
We have known each other for 8 years we were best friends in high school.
He confessed his love for me two years after we graduated high school and we have been together ever since.
He is currently in the US Navy, so we are long distance now, but we travel to see each other as much as we can.
Prior to going to Disneyland we had just got back from Florida where he is stationed.
So, he came back home with me to visit friends and family for two weeks.
We went to Disneyland just for fun.
I am a HUGE Disney fanatic I am a Disneyland annual Passholder and my fiancé is a Walt Disney World Passholder so Disney holds a special place in our hearts.
It’s our favorite place and whenever he comes home we go to Disneyland.
S0 that day felt like any other day!
We just had fun the whole day and, in the afternoon, we wanted to take pictures in front of the castle.
We took a few then my fiancé asked for one more and then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!

I was so choked up and happy to say anything I just said, ‘Yes!’ immediately and we kissed.
Later on, that day we went on Space Mountain.
I know where all the cameras are in all the rides and I always do something funny but this time I wanted to show off my ring!

I then showed off the ring on Space Mountain and the rest is history. I didn’t think this picture would go viral!
After that we celebrated our engagement with our friends and family and it’s been such a happy time ever since.”
