If you didn’t already have a crush on country singer Luke Bryan, you might develop one after reading about what happened recently on a country road in Columbia, Tennessee!
Single mom Courtney Potts was driving with her two young kids in the car when she blew a tire. She pulled over on the side of a dangerous curve in the road and a gray pick-up truck pulled up behind her.
“I got out and did a double-take and as soon as I heard his voice,” Courtney recalled. “I didn’t even have time to be in shock because he’s like, ‘Look, we really need to get you out of this road because I almost hit you.'”
The voice belonged to none other than Luke Bryan, who owns land in the area. He and sons Bo and Tate were on a hunting trip when they came across the stranded family. Without missing a beat, Luke helped Courtney find her spare tire and then ran back to his own truck to fetch a working jack. Then, the superstar lay right down on the pavement to change the tire, muttering about how he would make his sons help if it weren’t such a dangerous section of roadway.
‘He’s just a humble guy,’ said Courtney, adding that the singer ‘went into dad mode’ and seemed genuinely concerned for their safety. It took him about 30 minutes to swap out the tires, and afterward he even posed for a picture. Courtney was already a fan before this happened; now, she’s a super-fan for life!
