Sisters Are Nothing Short Of Angels On Earth

“If there’s one thing I know in this world, it’s that sisters are nothing short of angels on Earth.

When I was younger, I took my sister for granted.

She was always around and sometimes I wanted privacy, so I grew annoyed.

She would often steal my toys, accessories, and oh my goodness all. my. clothes.

(I cannot even begin to tell you the screaming matches we’ve had over stolen shirts.)

There were times I felt insecure when she would get more attention than myself from our parents.

I felt in constant competition to live up to the achievements of my sibling. After all, she was older and wiser.

Being born in the same week, birthdays were always split. I never felt I truly had a day of my own.

I even once got it in my head that I was the ugly sister, and I resented my sibling for it.

You name it, it’s happened.

But through all the trials and tribulations, I simply couldn’t see, sisters are nothing short of angels on Earth.

She is my DNA best friend.

She is my soul sister.

She is my ride or die.

She is my right hip.

She is my partner in crime.

She is my therapy.

She is my life jacket.

She is my guide.

She is my light in the darkness.

She is irreplaceable.

I couldn’t think of anyone better to walk through life with.

And I can only hope I know her in the next life, and the next, and the next.

Because I will love her for eternity.

And even that won’t be long enough.

If there’s one thing I know in this world, it’s that sisters are nothing short of angels on Earth.

Thank you, sister, for loving me back.”
