‘I will take the good AND bad to not feel the pain of losing you.’: Mom pens letter to her children

“Being a parent is so stressful at times.

This photo was taken of them on the dining room table.

You read that right.

On the table.

The whining.

The crying.

The yelling.

The tantrums.

My babies.

I will take them all, to not have to feel the pain of losing you.

Today I read of the devastating loss a family is feeling after losing their young child to cancer.

So I count myself blessed.

I am grateful for the good moments and the hard ones.

I am grateful for all the moments I get to share with you two.

I love you two always, and more than you’ll ever know.

Crying for moms and dads who would give anything for one more moment, even one more tantrum, with their babies.

I count myself blessed for it all. The good and the bad. The easy and the hard.

Grateful indeed.”
